The Sash Window Workshop‘s Operations Manager, Helen Barnes, explains the impact integrate has had for the front of house team.
“The impact that integrate has had on our ability to provide superior customer service to our clients has been immeasurable.
All of the information we need to run a smooth operation is at our fingertips and the amount of paper in the office has been significantly reduced – this is, of course, a big help in the run up to GDPR.
As soon as we get a call from a prospective customer we are able to log it in the system and allocate it immediately to the most appropriate member of the sales team, who is then able to contact the customer directly from the notification on their smart phone. The appointment is made and logged in the system, with the precise location logged in Google Maps so we can track where our sales team are at any point in time.
All paperwork and correspondence with customers can be handled via the system directly and logged against the relevant lead or order. As soon as we have an order, we can look at our surveyors’ diaries and book an appointment for them to visit for the manufacturing survey. We are now able to track all correspondence with our customers and colleagues in one place and as soon as a customer or prospective customer calls us with a query we are able to immediately access the history of the job and respond efficiently and in the full knowledge that we have all of the information we need to provide the best possible customer service.”

Of course, this also makes the business GDPR compliant. With our windows and doors manufacturing software there is no risk of staff members leaving customer data somewhere and all data is more secure. Using this software demonstrates you are taking all reasonably practical steps to keep data safe.
