Woodworking News feature EndtoEnd IT

Feb 14, 2020

We were delighted to feature in Woodworking News in February – described as ‘the future of the timber windows and doors industry’. If you missed the article here it is in full:

Whether your timber windows and doors company undertakes bespoke work or manufactures a more standard range, there’s no doubt you want to provide impeccable customer service and make your team as efficient as possible. Woodworking News met Miklos Szabo from EndtoEnd IT to see how the software company that specialises in timber window and door manufacturing is helping businesses to do both.

Before Lead Software Architect, Miklos Szabo, took his current role at EndtoEnd IT he had spent several years working as an installer and then a surveyor at a bespoke timber windows manufacturer. He was frustrated at the lack of any simple automated link between enquiries, quotes, design and manufacture of the products – causing delays to customer service and a lot of “back and forth questions” between staff. Whereas other manufacturing industries had been using technology to become more efficient for years, this didn’t seem to be the case across his sector.  “I went to my management and told them that I could design a far better solution than the one they were using” explains Miklos, who originally trained as a computer software engineer. Today, he designs software at EndtoEnd IT who operate across the UK. “Our integrate software seamlessly brings together sales teams, joiners, office staff and installers.”

Woodworking News discovered an affordable, user-friendly system. It works alongside Microsoft Exchange and Gmail, contacts and calendar so you don’t need to change email providers or input all your contacts and appointments into a new system. Information is logged from the first enquiry right through to installation. The whole team, including installers, can access this so there are no delays when key members of staff are unavailable plus you can still give customers and colleagues real-time updates even if you’re out of the office. It means there’s no need for paperwork to be kept in vans either – making your business data-protection compliant and more professional.

Miklos explains that ensuring the software gives businesses exactly what they need is key to the ethos at EndtoEnd IT:

“We will normally spend time at a client’s premises understanding exactly which parts of the system they need to help them be more efficient.  The software is easily configurable so a client can tailor it to their own pricing structure and production times.”

EndtoEnd IT can provide a flexible, cloud-based window designer as a stand-alone product too: “integrateCORE quickly produces quotations with automated pricing and all the production outputs that are needed to quote, manufacture and deliver the contract” explains Miklos, “it’s a great solution for companies who are not yet ready to take on a customer relationship management system but might want to grow to this in the future.” Clients just need to input their own pricing and configuration rules and then it is ready to use.

So what do EndtoEnd IT’s clients think?

“EndtoEnd IT have saved us at least three full time equivalent positions over the last five years while supporting increases in capacity across the business” says Richard Dollar, Managing Director at The Sash Window Workshop.

Given that it not only saves money on salaries, but expenditure on computers and time on recruiting and training too, why not book an online demo with us today?
